Rachel Michelle Laughlin, 26, Carthage, Missouri, passed away Sunday morning, October 1, 2023, at her home. She was born on May 28, 1997, in Joplin, Missouri, the daughter of Earl Dean Laughlin Jr, and Karen (Bennett) Laughlin. She was a 2014 graduate of Rockport- Fulton High School, Rockport, Texas. She loved animals, especially dogs, loved to travel, and spending time with family and friends.
Survivors include her fiancé and love of her life, Zach Kayser, Carthage, Missouri; father, Dean Laughlin (Anna), Carthage, Missouri; mother, Karen Laughlin, Carthage, Missouri; three brothers, Matthew Laughlin, Gavin VanGilder, and Grayson Laughlin, all of Carthage, Missouri; and paternal grandmother, Francis Kelley (Dwayne), Carthage, Missouri.
She was preceded in death by paternal grandpa, Earl Dean Laughlin Sr.; and paternal grandparents, Harvey Bennett, and Shirley Fields.
