Betty Ann Ross, 77, Carthage, MO, passed away Sunday, November 18, 2018, at Mercy Hospital, Joplin, MO. Betty Ann Carr was born October 12, 1941 to the late Frank and Nellie Carr. She received her degree in nursing. Betty worked as an RN for Mercy Hospital in Carthage, MO. She married Orville Ray Ross on June 3, 1973 in Joplin, MO; he preceded her in death on September 14, 2002. Betty was a member of the Fairview Christian Church, Carthage.
Survivors include one daughter, Patricia A. Cunningham (David), Springfield, MO; one sister, Barbara Jean Taylor (Don) Long Lane, MO; four grandchildren, and one great grandchild.
Betty was also preceded by a son, Jonathan Ross, two brothers, a sister, and a great grandson.
Visitation will be held 6-8 pm, Friday, November 23, 2018 at the Fairview Christian Church, Carthage. Funeral services will be held 10:00 am, Saturday, November 24, 2018 at the Fairview Christian Church. Burial will follow in the Fidelity Cemetery, Carthage, MO.
