Steve Roeber

Steve Roeber passed from this life on Friday, April 17, 2026 after a long illness of congestive heart failure and lung disease.

Steve is survived by his life partner of 50 years, Mitchell Cox, with Engel Volkers Realty, along with sisters, Brenda Huff (Steve) of Ft. Mills, SC, and Dixie Clayton of Carthage, MO. Steve is preceded in death by his parents, Amos and Beverly Roeber, of Carthage, MO.

Steve was born in Carthage, MO and moved at a young age to New Orleans, LA, where he managed and co-owned ‘A Better Mouse Trap’, a gift store on Royal Street before moving to Atlanta/ Marietta and opening Roeber Custom Designs on Cobb Parkway.

A graveside service will be held Wednesday, April 22, 2026 at 12:00 PM at Oak Hill Cemetery in Cartersville, Georgia. A reception will follow at Gianni & Mac’s Ristorante in Marietta at 2:00 PM.
