Carthage Chamber Unveils Logo for 60th Annual Maple Leaf Festival, Designed in Partnership with Carthage Tech Center Students

CARTHAGE, Mo. — The Carthage Area Chamber of Commerce is proud to announce the official theme and logo for the 60th Annual Maple Leaf Festival: “Maple Leaf Meets Main Street: Celebrating 60 Years.” The design was created through a collaborative partnership with seven talented graphic design students from the Carthage Technical Center, marking the second consecutive year the Chamber has worked with the Tech Center’s graphics department to bring this beloved tradition to life through the eyes of local students.

The students who contributed their creativity, vision, and design talent to this year’s project, under the guidance of their instructor Angie Fewin, include Jack Carlton, Paige Blankenship, Tucker Harden, Ian Boyer, Adia Gregory, Landon Ray, and Ava Beason. Their work beautifully captures the spirit of the festival while honoring its incredible 60-year legacy in the Carthage community.

“It is such a joy to work with these incredibly talented graphic design students at the Carthage Technical Center,” said Julie Reams, President & CEO of the Carthage Chamber of Commerce. “Their creativity, professionalism, and fresh perspectives never cease to amaze me. Partnering with these students and their instructor Angie Fewin for the second year in a row has been one of the most rewarding experiences, and we are so proud to showcase their incredible work as the face of this year’s milestone festival. They truly represent the bright future of Carthage.”

The Maple Leaf Festival has been a cherished tradition in Carthage for six decades, drawing thousands of visitors from across the region to celebrate the beauty of autumn, the rich heritage of our community, and the small-town charm that makes Carthage so special. From the iconic Maple Leaf Parade winding through the historic streets to live music, food, vendors, and family-friendly activities, the festival has become a defining piece of Carthage history. Generations of families have grown up looking forward to this annual celebration, where memories are made, traditions are honored, and the Carthage spirit shines brighter than the autumn leaves themselves.

This year’s 60th Annual Maple Leaf Festival will take place October 10th through October 17th, with activities and events happening daily throughout the week. A complete calendar of events will be released in the coming weeks, offering residents and visitors plenty of opportunities to take part in the festivities and celebrate this historic milestone together.

The Carthage Chamber of Commerce extends a heartfelt thanks to the Carthage Technical Center and to the Carthage R-9 School District, including classroom instructor Angie Fewin, and the seven student designers whose work will represent this year’s festival. Their contribution is a beautiful reminder that the future of Carthage is in capable, creative hands.
