The MSSU Choral Society’s annual Spring Concert will take place Sunday, May 3, 2026, at 3:00 p.m., in the First Community Church, 2007 East 15th St in Joplin, MO.
The MSSU Choral Society, conducted by Melissa Belk, is a 50-member area-wide, mixed choir that offers fellowship and fun for those passionate about singing.
The Chorus will sing several popular songs, including: For Good” from Wicked, and Touch the Skyfrom Brave. They will also perform a medley of jazzy standards, including Alexander’s Ragtme Band, When the Saints Go Marching In, and Sweet Georgia Brown. In a more serious vein, Pie Jesu by Andrew Lloyd Webber, and several others will be presented.
The concert is free and open to the public; donations are appreciated.
