Annual Voice of Democracy, Patriot’s Pen Essays Open for Submissions for 2025

CARTHAGE, Mo. — The Post and Auxillary are offering the Voice of Democracy and Patriots Pen Essays.

The Voice of Democracy is for students in 9th grade thru 12th grade. Its theme is “How Are You Showing Patriotism And Support For Our Country?” These will be due by October 31, 2025.

The Patriot’s Pen is for students in 6th thru 8th grades. Its theme is “How Are You Showing Patriotism And Support For Our Country?” These will be due by October 31, 2025.

Any student from public school, private school, homeschool, students are eligible.
The applications for these have been taken to our local schools, and sent by e-mail to the high school counselors. Or you can contact the following persons.

We Welcome all Students, there will be awards given after the judging of all the essays.

There are also applications available to nominate teachers for a National Citizenship Education Teacher Award for grades K-12.
