Hello,
My name is Brenda Hoenshell, I was born and raised in Carthage. I am a 1976 graduate of Carthage High School. My husband Dale and I are parents to Lora and Scott. We have four grandsons, one granddaughter and one great-granddaughter.
It seems like I have always been interested in crafting, whether it be sewing or doing flower arrangements. Three years ago I started making jewelry. It started with making clay earrings, then I added making my own beads. The next was rings crafted from wire. In the last few months, I started crafting items using resin. That opens up all kinds of ideas. My most popular item is my earrings. I work daily making some kind of jewelry or coming up with new designs.
I have been asked several times where I get my ideas from, I smile and say “It’s a God thing.” I put my faith in Jesus and he is my savior and Lord. I know that my creativity comes from him. When I go to events, I enjoy meeting people and sharing God’s love.
As I was thinking and prayed for my Lord to help me with a name for my business, “From The Heart” kept coming to my mind, so I chose that to be the name.
