Three Sarcoxie residents were injured in a one-vehicle accident 9:40 a.m. Tuesday on northbound I-49 one mile south of Carthage.
According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2007 Ford Expedition driven by Stephen J. Hill, 63, Sarcoxie, went out of control on the wet roadway, ran off the right side of the road and struck two trees.
Hill and two passengers, Jeannie D. Hill, 53, and a 15-year-old boy, both of Sarcoxie, were treated for minor injuries at Mercy Joplin.
