Jeannie R. Helms, 48, passed away Friday, September 4, 2020, at her home in Carthage. Jeannie was born August 3, 1972, in Webb City, MO to Charlie O. Lee and Jean “Luney” Burton. Jeannie was a lifetime resident of Carthage and Jasper, a CPA and attended Elevation Church.
Jeannie is survived by her mother and step-father, Carl Burton of Carthage; two sons, Jaycee Helms of Oronogo and Jerron Helms of Carthage; two brothers, Charlie Lee and Shane Lee, both of Carthage; two step-brothers, Toby Burton and Scott Burton, both of Carthage.
Jeannie was preceded in death by her father, Charlie Lee.
A memorial visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 10, 2020, at Ulmer Funeral Home.
