Score Baseball Tickets and Shirt in May and June during 20th Annual Bleed Red Blood Drive with Springfield Cardinals

JOPLIN, Mo. — April 25, 2024 – Community Blood Center of the Ozarks (CBCO), the sole supplier of blood, platelets, and plasma to patients at 45 area healthcare facilities, is teaming up with the Springfield Cardinals for the twentieth annual Bleed Red blood drive.

The 2024 Bleed Red blood drive will be held during May and June at CBCO Joplin and Springfield donor centers and mobile blood drives in Missouri and Kansas. Successful donors will receive a custom three-quarter sleeve Springfield Cardinals baseball T-shirt and TWO FREE TICKETS to an upcoming Cardinals game, while supplies last.

Bleed Red, one of CBCO’s most anticipated promotions, is held during the summer to help ensure a strong summer blood supply for local patients. “With the generous support of the Springfield Cardinals, we are thrilled to be able to offer this fun summer incentive to our valued CBCO donors again this year,” CBCO Media Relations Representative, Michelle Teter said. “Hit a homerun for local patients by taking the time to donate. A simple act of kindness today can save lives tomorrow.”
