Southwest Missouri I’m Diggin’ It Metal Detecting Club Meeting April 2026

CARTHAGE, Mo. — The Carthage based I’m Diggin’ It Metal Detecting Club met at 8 a.m. Saturday, April 4, 2026, at the Carthage Braum’s for their monthly meeting.

The club members discussed and showcased some of their finds from the previous month. Finds from the previous month are eligible to enter to win a prize, with the winners for each category voted on by the members in attendance.

Category winners were:

  • Civil War: Infantry Eagle Button, Tom Bayless
  • Jewelry: Silver Heart Ring, Jarrod Miller
  • Nicest Coin: 1902 Barber Quarter, Jarrod Miller
  • Oldest Coin: 1901 Indian Head Penny, Jarrod Miller
  • Relic: Vintage Ash’s Deere Brand Compact, Jerry Harris
  • Token: One 1/2 Fare Southwest Missouri Railroad Token, Jarrod Miller
  • Toy: Clue Board Game Dagger, Ambree Hoover

Each category winner receives a silver dime as a prize.

Members present were: President Tom Bayless, Treasurer David Hoover, Jerry Harris, Jarrod Miller, Ambree Hoover, and Randy Miler.

The club welcomed new members Frank Thompson and Dan Thompson.

After the meeting, members went and hunted in Diamond. A good time was had by all.

The next meeting will be held Saturday, May 2, 2026 at Braum’s. Don’t forget your finds.
