Wendell Lynn Todd, 68, passed away Friday, July 17, 2020, at Freeman Hospital in Joplin, MO surrounded by his family.

Wendell was born May 9, 1952, in Lawrence County, MO to Orlie and Frances “Spencer” Todd. He went to West Elementary Grade School near Miller, MO, and then his family moved to Carthage, MO where he was a lifelong resident. He worked over 20 years at Steadley Corporation, then at Dean’s Double Deuce Diesel Repair in Duenweg, retiring after 18 years. Wendell enjoyed working with all types of wood.  He made a cradle for his first grandchild, little wooden chairs and furniture for his wife. He always had a project going on. He also enjoyed tinkering with cars and small engines. But, his favorite thing to do was sit on his front porch with the love of his life, Janey Kay.

Wendell was united in marriage to Janey Kay Stotts on August 22, 1972, in Carthage, MO; she survives.
