Larry Fullerton, 69, passed away Wednesday, April 10, 2019 at Cox Hospital in Springfield. Larry was born September 9, 1949 in Carthage to Garold and Marcella Fullerton.
Larry was a commercial vehicle officer with the Missouri State Highway Patrol for 30 years and served in the National Guard for 20 years. He was an umpire referee in Southwest Missouri for many years and a member of the Fairview Christian Church. Larry cherished and enjoyed his family, especially his grandchildren. He was also a Carthage Tigers fan and an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan.
Larry is survived by two sons, Justin Fullerton (Heather) and Scott Fullerton (Kimberly), both of Carthage; one sister, Lyn Alumbaugh of Carthage; and five grandchildren, Brett, Hailey, Ava, Leah and Brody.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, April 17, 2019 at Fairview Christian Church in Carthage. Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 16, 2019 at Fairview Christian Church. Burial will be at Park Cemetery in Carthage.
