Grace Linthicum Knight, 91, passed away June 4, 2019 at Mercy Hospital in Joplin. Grace was born June 9, 1927 in Stotts City, MO to Loren and Lodema (Henry) Smith. Grace was a bookkeeper for Linthicum Construction. She was a 61-year member of the First Christian Church of Carthage and a member of the Mr. and Mrs. Sunday School class.
Grace was united in marriage to Bill Linthicum January 1, 1946 in Columbus, KS; he preceded her in death February 20, 1995. Grace was then united in marriage to Jimmy Knight, February 22, 1999 in Laughlin, NV; he preceded her in death in 2001.
Grace is survived by one daughter, Sandra Wade of Webb City, MO; one son, Larry Linthicum and wife Sue of Joplin; four grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
Services will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday, June 7, 2019 at the Ulmer Funeral Home. Visitation will be held prior to services from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Ulmer Funeral Home. Burial will be at Park Cemetery.
