Glenn graduated from Nashville, MO High School, after school he would haul hay and coal and ran his dads milk route for awhile until he joined the Army Reserves in 1950. He then made the decision to switch to the USAF-SAC as a bombers technician, where he earned his stripes, achieving the rank of Master Sergeant which he said was the best decision of his life.  Glenn spent 24 years, 6 months and 2 days in the Air Force from 1953-1975. Glenn spent his service time in Tucson, AZ, and Loring AFB in Limestone, ME. and England.  Glenn also spent a lot of time in Guam.  If you had the opportunity to meet Glenn he would more than likely strike up a conversation about his time in the service.

Glenn was a lifetime member of the Manchaca, TX VFW and Crestview Baptist Church, Georgetown, TX.
