Brandi Marie Mojica, 37, passed away Saturday, October 2, 2021 in Joplin, Missouri. Brandi was born April 8, 1984 in Carthage, Missouri to Randy Scott and Jacqueline Ackley-Thiessen. Brandi was a lifetime resident of Carthage, Missouri. She was a receptionist at Freeman Hospital in Neosho, Missouri. Brandi was a member of the Carthage Nazarene Church in Carthage, Missouri. She loved time with her family, camping and taking lots of pictures of her kids.
Brandi was united in marriage to Gerardo Mojica on November 8, 2003 at Carthage Nazarene Church in Carthage, Missouri. He survives.
Brandi is survived by her husband, Gerardo Mojica of Carthage, Missouri; son, Steffon Mojica, of the home; two daughters, Sarah and Shylee Mojica, both of the home; her father and step-mother, Randy and Deanne Scott of Carthage, Missouri; two brothers, Joseph Lee of Jasper, Missouri, and Kyler Scott of Carthage, Missouri; a sister Kayley Deleon of Carthage, Missouri; and grandparents, Ron and Francine Lee of Carthage, Missouri, Robert and Marie Thiessen of Carthage, Missouri, and Barney and Donna Scott of Carthage, Missouri.
Brandi is preceded in death by her mother, Jacqueline Ackley-Thiessen.
Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, October 8, 2021 at Carthage Nazarene Church in Carthage, Missouri. Burial will be at Fasken Cemetery in Carthage, Missouri.
