JASCO Emergency Services Board Commends Harrison’s Accomplishments as Chairman

JAPER COUNTY, Mo. – The Jasper County Emergency Services Board of Directors takes great pride in acknowledging the outstanding service and dedication of James Harrison, who has served as our Chairman and Board Director since October 15th, 2014.

James Harrison was recently elected to the position of Jasper County Coroner, and we wish to express our congratulations and heartfelt gratitude for his invaluable contributions throughout his tenure. Under James’s exceptional oversight, Jasper County Emergency Services experienced significant advancements, fostering a culture of positive change and community involvement.

James’s support as Board Director facilitated seamless data sharing among neighboring jurisdictions, as well as supporting successful consolidation of the Carthage Police Dispatching into the JASCO emergency dispatching operations, supported the Text-to-911, Prepared Live, and Rapid SOS initiative, enhancing emergency communication capabilities. James leadership as Board Chairman championed the passage of a funding increase to replace and enhance communications throughout all of Jasper County by helping to plan, finance, and prepare for the construction of the Jasper County, County-Wide Public Safety Radio Project which is currently underway. As Board Chairman James has always supported growth and employee wellness programs within the Center to prepare the JASCO Staff with the skills, knowledge and abilities, to provide the best and most efficient service possible to the Community and Agencies that we serve.

The Jasper County Emergency Services Board of Directors in conjunction with the staff of Jasper County Emergency Services sincerely thank James Harrison for his exceptional leadership, unwavering dedication, and commitment to the safety and well-being of our community.
