Carthage, Webb City residents injured in 3-vehicle accident

Two people were injured in a 3-vehicle accident 3:40 p.m. Sunday on Highway HH three miles west of Carthage.

According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2005 Chevrolet Silverado driven by Rachele J. Lord, 59, Carthage, crossed the center line and struck a 2024 Chrysler Pacifica driven by Christina M. Dumas, 32, Joplin, head on.

The Dumas vehicle traveled off the south side of the roadway, while the Lord vehicle struck a 2012 Cadillac SRX driven by Harlan E. Lancaster, Jr., 59, Webb City head on.

Lord and Lancaster were treated for moderate injuries at Freeman West Hospital, Joplin.
