ROOT 66 Carthage Farmers Market Opens 2026 Season with Grand Opening at Kolpin Family Pavilion

CARTHAGE, Mo. — The ROOT 66 Carthage Farmers Market is excited to announce its Grand Opening on May 2, celebrating both the official start of the 2026 season and a major upgrade with their move into a new covered pavilion, at 122 Grant Street in Carthage.

After years of operating in an open park setting, the market’s new pavilion provides a more comfortable and reliable experience for both vendors and shoppers. It offers protection from the sun and rain while creating a welcoming, centralized gathering space.

The four-hour grand opening celebration will feature live music, food trucks, giveaways, kids’ activities, and more. The event is free and open to the public, inviting the community to experience the new space and kick off the season together.

The Carthage Farmers Market brings together local farmers, makers, and small businesses, offering fresh produce, handmade goods, and a vibrant community atmosphere.
