CARTHAGE, Mo. — artCentral is selling personalized, engraved bricks to raise funds to enhance the grounds of the Hyde House, home of artCentral.
Proceeds will be used to improve the campus by:
- Creating a new memorial walkway on the artCentral grounds,
- Expanding sidewalks to make the outdoor spaces more accessible,
- Enhancing Hyde House’s gardens and outdoor areas, to create a botanical space that can be used by the community, and
- Supporting educational programming in artCentral’s outdoor spaces.
“Every brick purchased supports the continued growth of artCentral’s botanical gardens,”says Executive Director Cheryl Church.
“The commemorative bricks will be woven together with mosaics on flat stones, handcrafted by our community during special events and by the youth in our after-school programs. Together, these pathways will tell the story of creativity, collaboration, and care that define artCentral.”
Bricks are available in the following sizes:
4” x 8” Up to 3 lines of text (14 characters per line) $125
8” x 8” Up to 6 lines of text (14 characters per line) $200
The public and local businesses are encouraged to purchase a brick honoring a loved one, celebrating a milestone, or showing support for Carthage’s community green spaces.
