CJHS students Housh, Bysor and Lehman advance to State History Day competition in Columbia

CJHS students Malachi Housh, Carter Lehman and Matthew Bysor all advanced to the State History Day competition in Columbia, Mo.

Carthage Junior High School eighth-grader Malachi Housh finished in 2nd place at the regional History Day competition at MSSU on Friday, March 6, 2020.

Eighth-grader Malachi Housh finished 2nd at the regional History Day competition and advanced to the State History Day competition in Columbia, Mo.

Housh competed with an individual performance over Paul Anderson’s life, legacy, and how Anderson broke social and political barriers during the Cold War.

Housh will compete at the State History Day competition on April 25, 2020, at the University of Missouri in Columbia, Mo.

Carthage Junior High School seventh-graders Matthew Bysor and Carter Lehman finished in 2nd place at the regional History Day competition at MSSU Friday.

Bysor and Lehman competed in the category of group documentary over the technical and aviation barriers broken by The Wright Brothers.

Seventh-graders Carter Lehman and Matthew Bysor finished 2nd at the regional History Day competition and advanced to the State History Day competition in Columbia, Mo.

Both will compete at the State History Day competition on April 25, 2020, at the University of Missouri in Columbia, Mo.
