“Hailey Fullerton had a really good game tonight,” said Carthage Head Coach Chad Jones. “She came out and was rebounding the ball well, made shots inside and sank her free throws. She played really good defense and she had some nice blocks and lots of steals. This was a really good game for her.”

Other scores for the Lady Tigers included Karley Crowe with eight points, Sydney Peters with six points, Jillian Brunnert and Sierrah Negrette with three points each and Jaxsyn Anderson and Sara Golden with two points each.

“I thought that Riley Kabance came off the bench and played a really good game for us,” Jones said. “She rebounded well, ran some of the inside and outside positions and some of our sets. Frontenac played a lot of zone defense, a lot of different kinds of zone defense. We like to play up tempo and that slowed us down a little bit, but I thought Kabance coming off the bench helped us and we adapted to what they were doing well.”

The Lady Tigers get a little bit of time off before returning to the floor at 6 p.m. on Thursday for a game with McDonald County at home.
