Carthage Chamber Eggs & Issues set for Feb. 10

CARTHAGE, Mo. — The Carthage Chamber of Commerce is kicking off Friday morning with the annual, Eggs & Issues Legislative Briefing. This event will begin at 10 a.m. and will be held at the Grace Pointe Church in Carthage, 1605 Baker Blvd.

Pre-registration for this event is required and can be done by calling the Carthage Chamber at 417-358-2373 or online at www.carthagechamber.com no on-site registration will be allowed. Cost is $15 for Carthage Chamber members and $20 for non-members.

“The Chamber has been hosting the first of several legislative briefings for many years,” said Julie Reams, President of the Carthage Chamber of Commerce. “We encourage business leaders, citizens and community leaders to attend all of these briefings. This is a way that we can hear from our legislators and representatives on issues they are working on that directly impact us here locally in Southwest Missouri,” added Reams.

Southwest Missouri Representatives that plan to attend are Bob Bromley, Cody Smith, Lane Roberts, Ben Baker, Dirk Deaton and Ann Kelly. Newly elected State Senator Jill Carter also plans to attend to give a Washington update.
