SUMMARY:MSSU Choral Society Annual Spring Concert May 3
DESCRIPTION:The MSSU Choral Society’s annual Spring Concert will take place Sunday\, May 3\, 2026\, at 3:00 p.m.\, in the First Community Church\, 2007 East 15th St in Joplin\, MO. \nThe MSSU Choral Society\, conducted by Melissa Belk\, is a 50-member area-wide\, mixed choir that offers fellowship and fun for those passionate about singing. \nThe Chorus will sing several popular songs\, including: For Good” from Wicked\, and Touch the Skyfrom Brave. They will also perform a medley of jazzy standards\, including Alexander’s Ragtme Band\, When the Saints Go Marching In\, and Sweet Georgia Brown.  In a more serious vein\,  Pie Jesu by Andrew Lloyd Webber\, and several others will be presented. \nThe concert is free and open to the public; donations are appreciated.
