Exploring the Museum Collection at George Washington Carver National Monument  

Diamond, MO – You are invited to attend a special program, Exploring the Museum Collection this Sunday, May 22nd at 1:00 p.m. This free program will be held inside the visitor center.

A park ranger will share information about the museum collection housed at George Washington Carver National Monument, preservation methods to care for the collection, and how these items help to tell the story of George Washington Carver’s life. Selected artifacts will be available for viewing. Attend this program and learn more about the museum collection at this site and how the National Park Service preserves and protects natural and cultural resources.

Administered by the National Park Service, an agency of the Department of the Interior, George Washington Carver National Monument preserves the birthplace and childhood home of George Washington Carver, scientist, educator, and humanitarian. The park is located two miles west of Diamond, Missouri, on Highway V, then south ¼ mile on Carver Road.
