Celebrate Art, Music, and Fun at Art by the Spring hosted at the personal gallery of artist April Davis Brunner. Daughter of legendary artist Lowell Davis, April is an extraordinary talent in her own right. She was awarded the Artist of the Year award at the annual awards ceremony of the Carthage Chamber of Commerce. Like her father, she is incredibly enamored with nature and shares her vision in her work.
April has an incredible heart to support others in the community. Her event invites emerging artists to her home studio to set up for the day and share their work in her space. Art by the Spring features live music and art from a variety of genres to her quaint setting near a spring. Guests are encouraged to wear flip-flops and dip their feet into the cooling waters as they enjoy the surrounding works.
Art by the Spring is June 19th and 20th from 10 am to 3 pm at 5245 Old Hwy 71 in Joplin. Performances scheduled: Jeremiah Jones on the Indian Flute, Taylor Jones on Guitar on June 19th, and Amanda Kimble on the Harp on June 20.
