MONETT, Mo. — Saturday, April 20th, the Monett Stake Women’s Conference, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, was held in the Monett Stake Center and  attended by 119 women from the areas of Cassville, Granby, Aurora, Stockton, Larmar, Pierce City, and Monett. Carol Echols, Aurora, First Counselor in the Monett Stake Relief Society, introduced the theme–“Simplify Your Life”—as reflected in putting Jesus Christ first in their lives.

Monett Stake Relief Society President, Molly Bryan, Monett, compared the solar eclipse to the women’s lives. “Even though the moon blocked the sun, the light still came through.” Quoting Elder Jeffery R. Holland of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles, President Bryan continued, “It is not possible for you to sink lower than the infinite light of Christ’s Atonement shines.”
